Celebrating the Spirit and Identity of Indigenous Culture in Canada - CES’s mandate has always been to support local community development initiatives that ensure preservation of culture through responsible economic development and empowerment. Simplifying Sustainable Cultural Tourism - What

Innovative Ideas for Indigenous Tourism Development. I came across an interesting video on YouTube

stories of their Elders to assist with cultural and environmental preservation.
Chief Almir’s innovative idea to track and record illegal logging in his region
using Google Earth created a positive impact for the community’s economy by
resulting in a reforestation project. Chief Almir was recognized as one of the
100 most creative people in business in 2011 by Fast Company. Click here for the full story.

a story with you about a recent restaurant experience. Myself and
some people from our office went to nearby restaurant for lunch. Sort of a
diner-type place; a place where you’d expect decent home style food at a fair
price. Nothing fancy, but good food for good value. Click here for the full story.
